Jason Hale to leave Chiodos

Jason Hale, the guitarist from Chiodos, announced on Friday that he would be leaving the band. Hale's twitter announcement can be read below but the rest of the band have not released a statement on the matter.

Coldplay Tour Hiatus

"This is the last big show for three years or so," Chris Martin of Coldplay told a Brisbane, Australia audience on Wednesday night, according to Billboard. Although the band has shows booked through December, there are not scheduled performances after that date. Martin released no comment on why the band is choosing to take a break.

The Maine DVD Documentary

Rude Records will be releasing The Maine's DVD, Anthem For A Dying Breed, on 12/6. The production schedule was pushed back by a week since the New Jersey based manufacturing company experienced problems from Hurricane Sandy.

City and Colour Album Finished Recording

Dallas Green (City and Colour) has finished recording his latest album. Green heads out on tour with Alexisonfire in early December for their farewell tour.

New Transit Album

Boston based pop-punkers Transit will begin recording their fourth full length on Saturday.

Children 18:3- "Follow the Star"

Minnesota based rock outfit, Children 18:3, released a new Christmas song entitled "Follow the Star." The song can be streamed on SoundCloud here. The band will be on the Follow the Star tour from 11/28 to 12/5 in the Midwest.
