"Some Nights" Music Video

On Monday, fun. premiered their music video for title track "Some Nights" on MTV. In a songless introduction, fun. sets up the story of a lonely confederate solider in contrast to a young union solider in love with a girl. Battlefield chaos then rules the screen with quick flashes to the band. Once again partnering with a primarily hip-hop artist, this time director Anthony Mandler, fun. gives us one of the rare music videos that uses the lyrics to tell a story rather than solely show the band paying under flashing lights. The video can be seen here.
